Product Vision

Product vision ¼ Conceptual description of what the future product will be at the end of the strategic timeframe, i.e. high-level descriptions of a product concept and a corresponding business model. The product vision is the “guiding star” for the strategy. It outlines in a condensed form: • Conceptual image of what the future product will be, • The customer value proposition that says why the product is needed and cannot be replaced by an alternative, and • The business value for the vendor, i.e. why it will be successful.
