Hi Fernando
I’m not sure this helps you any. I did come across a couple of these products, working for the NHS.
I know Anylogic, used to use it for system dynamics modelling, and Agent AI (More on the military side) but became too expensive so we moved over to iThink. It’s still tends is to be used in the more traditional areas such as patient flow, resource optimisation. In the UK they are partnering with Decision Labs https://decisionlab.co.uk a number of NHS Trust use them.
More recently when I was looking at the use of digital twins (mental health, part body and organ focus) in the NHS. I came across Virtonomy, they had been used by supplier my Trust was working with. I had to explain too clinicians what the impact would be, and the potential clinical risk (I was acting Clinical Safety Officer, and had to do the DCB’s).
So, my experience has been suppliers selling products to the NHS developed using one of these tools. So I’m not sure that helps you.
I can tell you what questions I would ask as a clinical safety officer, for any a new digital based service or digital product that used one of these tools in its design.
Kind Regards
Dave
